2 weeks, 2x @ Jose Andres Restaurants @ SLS. I’m the luckiest girl on the Westside. Jose Andres is the perfect place to take your date, or just an awesome place to meet up some friends for dinner. The menu is very eclectic, with an endless assortment of modern and traditional tapas. The cocktail menu also has a wide variety of yummy elixirs to choose from, however the Magic Mojito is by far the most popular drink there.
Parking: Valet only
Price range per person(w/1 cocktail): $100-$150
I must say that everything on the Jose Andres menu is fantastic, and here are some of my favorites.

Oysters served in a cute tin. Very fresh and light flavor.

Hamachi with marinated watermelon cubes, soy foam, and a slice of jalapeno for kick!

Fresh Uni. Enough said!

King crab w/raspberry puree. Very tasty.

Momo Peach Bellini is my 1st favorite, 2nd fav is Magic Mojito.

Japanese taco...eel w/fresh cucumber and topped of with bonito flakes.

Foie Gras, wrapped in fresh spun cotton candy. #1 must try!

Apple Fennel Salad...soooooo tasty.

Wagyu Beef, Philly Cheesesteak. My all time favorite!!!

Eggs Nuovo. This one is hard to explain, but it tastes like a fresh omelette, once you mix up the potato puree and egg mixture inside.

Cup of freshly spun cotton candy, just for our table!

Chocolate Pop Rocks

For dessert...White chocolate lollipops, berry pate of fruit, rice crispy chocolate bar.
So, finally!!! We’ve officially started the DIY (or have someone else do it, if you’re a cheater like me) projects at home. It took awhile to decide on a color for the guest room, but I ran over to Home Depot and had the guy mix up something extra special for me. Looks like it’s time to decorate the wall with some art, or maybe even some vinyl decals. Stay tuned for updates!
Here it is…

In the process...

Voila!

Here's a different view from the living area.
After flipping through dozens of wallpaper sample books, we’ve finally decided on something for our master bedroom. The color theme will be: purple, black, silver, and white. I’ve also included some pieces that we may incorporate, to transform our space into a stylish bedroom. Total budget: $1000

Please, let me introduce you to my Bling Tree! No leaves to clean up and no water necessary. Just add sparkly things to keep it alive! Available at Cb2.com

Love is forever, and so are diamonds!

Like twinkling stars in the sky. Muah!
it’s time to start robbing the piggy or Hello Kitty bank and run to your nearest Coinstar machine! I totally cashed out and walked away with $45.45. Unlike chancing it in Vegas, you’re a winner every time!

Before...

After! It was practically raining coins! I'm rich bitch!
Was browsing around Whole Foods and came across this intimating lunch box. First thought, FIERCE!
Hahaha, I think lunch boxes back in the day, consisted of super hero characters and Care Bears. It was oh so innocent!

REeeeeooooow!
Lady Gaga, awesome!
I’m in love with CHOCOLATE POP ROCKS!!! Yea, you heard me right! I had dinner at Jose Andres @ the SLS hotel last night, and towards the end we ordered up some CHOCOLATE POP ROCKS! MmMmm.
I liked them so much, I had to order some to-go! They are so magical. Best part is, the chocolate doesn’t compromise the “pop”!

Tasty treat.

Woke up to another beautiful sunny day, so JP and I are about to head out on the cruisers. Before heading out, I fixed some mini pita sandwiches!
Whole wheat mini pitas, stuffed with organic hummus, alfalfa sprouts, and sliced japanese cucumbers. It was fresh, light, and very flavorful!

Very healthy and tasty pita sandwiches
