Ever since I was a lil girl, there was always a certain level of fascination, when I stood in front of a vending machine trying to figure out my purchase. Today as an adult, you can still find me glued to the vending machines, except, the new modern version features fun & kitschy items.
I spotted this one @ The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. You can get everything from Lady Gaga rhinestone encrusted ear bugs, fashion tape, gourmet chocolate, jewelry, and even eyelashes. Although, you can find better quality, selection, & prices for falsie lashes just around the corner at Skins 6/2 Cosmetics.
I’ve traveled the world and simply adore the hot/cold drink vending machines in Tokyo. They even carry small selection of hot soups.
My 2nd runner up would be Bam! in NYC. They feature hot foods such as grilled cheese, sandwiches, and mozzarella sticks.
Sephora has been a long time favorite of mine, but as of late, they are lacking the variety of new and exciting brands. I find that many of the products they put on their “top recommendation” lists, are simply a hit or miss.
It’s relieving to finally come across a gorgeous apothecary like Skins 6/2 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. This mega beauty haven has all of the hard to find beauty brands like Love & Toast (hand creme), Creed (perfume), and Lash Royalty (falsie lashes).
The staff is extremely helpful and will even do a quick makeup touch up upon request. I also like the fact that Skins 62 is located right next door to Marquee nightclub, making it extra convenient for me to swing by and get my lashes and last minute beauty needs before I hit the dance floor!
Tis the season of holiday parties, and excuses to get all dolled up. I’m loving the sexy cat eye look everyone is doing this fall/holiday season. I’ll have to re-create this look with a tad bit less eyeliner, but definitely some false lashes! I’ll have to stop by and check out the selection on Lash Royalty.
On my days off, I love perusing the aisles of Barnes & Nobles for some good reads. The magazine aisle is section, with hundreds of hidden gems.
Recently, I found this awesome women’s fashion & beauty magazine called Audrey. The content is fresh, modern, and features all sorts new (and well known) brands and luxe beauty products. It’s not stuffed full useless pages of perfume advertisements and Ralph Lauren ads. =)
I hear Audrey Magazine is also available online as well.
UK Beauty Blog, Filthygorgeousmakeup, just posted up another pretty makeup tutorial. I am so inspired to re-create this look!
I’m always get compliments on my lashes from women of all ages!!! I used to wear Mac, then Shu Uemura, but now my new favorites are from Lash Royalty.
It’s a pretty new company, with gorgeous styles that definitely look really natural on me. Mac lashes are too long and unflattering, while Shu’s are just too darn expensive (and they are officially closed in the US). Lash Royalty styles are $15 a pop, and I’ve reused mine at least 5x now. They hold their shape pretty well, even after several nights out on the town. =)
My favorite style is Chloe & Luxe-1, but they have a bunch of other really cute styles too. Oh, and here’s a 25% off coupon for Lash Royalty. Not a bad deal at all!
