It’s cute to see all the kids get excited for pony rides @ the farmers mkt, but for July 4th weekend, it was a mini petting zoo! Too cute!
Even on a cool cloudy day, tons of people flock to the Farmers Market. With made to order food, fresh seasonal veggies, and newly picked fruits, it’s definitely worth the trip.
Best French crepes stop in West LA is Acadie’s on Arizona/3rd. They also set up at the Main Street Farmers Market on Sundays! The best thing about Acadie’s is that they have a big menu of savory or sweet crepes. My fav crepe (The Harvest) has turkey, mushrooms, onions, a little cheese, and spinach. Deeeelicious!
I look forward to the weekends, because there’s less people on the road, and I get to stop by the local Farmer’s Market. I’ll posted number times about my trip to the Farmer’s Market, but here’s your chance to see what’s in our shopping totes!
Asian pears, fuji apples, nira (Japanese chives), daikon radish, nasu (Japanese eggplant), vine ripened tomatoes, and leeks…
Fresh Komatsuna (Japanse Mustard Spinach) & Fresh Arugula!!
And, last but not least, pomegranates!
Virtually every Sunday, JP and I truck it on down to the local Farmer’s Market for some fresh fruits and veggies. In addition to the produce section, there are also food vendors that whip up some good stuff like breakfast burritos, roasted corn, fresh juices, and crispy crepes! Going to the Farmers Market is always a treat!!!!
